*This pattern won Highly Commended at the British Sewing Awards 2021*
Be creative and turn old or unused jeans into a pretty dress. The Jeans to Joppa Dress is a comfortable A-line shape with front pockets, ruffle and bias binding tie at the back. No buttons or zippers!
Add your own personal stamp in your choice of fabric for the ruffle and binding - we love Liberty as it is such a contrast to the denim.
Wear sleeveless in the summer or with a long sleeve turtleneck in the winter. The denim makes it a hard wearing dress for lots of play.
Ages 2-8
Step-by-step instructions with photos and illustrations
No buttonholes or zippers
Includes a one page Quick Guide
PDF US Letter/A4 Print at Home Pattern plus option for A1 Printing
Environmentally friendly - reuse textiles and reduce landfill
Confident Beginner level
Please note, ideally, age 7 and 8 require jeans with a 31” or longer inside leg but the pattern includes instructions to adjust the pattern and increase the length of the ruffle if you are unable to find jeans this length.
