This pattern shows you how to take an existing large adult shirt and turn it into a lovely top.
You get the benefit of beautiful professional tailoring (buttons/collar/cuffs) so all you need to do is some clever cutting and straight sewing.
Don’t like buttonholes or zippers - no problem. The pattern uses the existing button strip and has many variations - you design and decide!
Collar (original, band or pleated) or no collar?
Sleeves - no sleeves, cuff sleeves or full?
Ruffle or no ruffle?
You can get really creative using different fabrics for ruffles and trimmings (adding liberty print bias binding is a favourite of mine).
